Revolution Idle is a feature-rich idle game with approximately 40-60 hours of content, even while still in Early Access. The game features multiple prestige layers that reset your progress but provide powerful bonuses.
The base layer where circles complete laps to generate score. Contains circle upgrades, Prestige, and Promotions tabs. Prestige effects include P.Exponent and P.Mult improvements.
The first prestige layer with 4 subtabs:
Unlocks at 1.80e308 IP with 7 subtabs including Milestones and Automations
Configure automation settings to streamline gameplay
Spend TF gained while offline to boost progress
Regular and Secret Achievements that provide bonuses
Additional tabs for game information and settings
When you first start the game, progress will be slow. You'll see a red circle completing laps and generating small multipliers. The basic income formula is:
Upgrade the red circle to increase Laps/s, which generates more Score (SC) faster. Continue upgrading until you unlock the orange circle at 100 Score.
Keep upgrading circles until you reach approximately 10B Score, which unlocks Prestige. For your first prestige, aim for at least a x10 P.Mult. Your prestige window should show:
P.Exponent: ^1.00 → ^1.03
P.Mult: x1.00 → x11.00
Before prestiging, complete Achievement 2 by ascending a color that has reached its maximum level (click the "A" button).
After your first prestige, continue the cycle with these P.Mult targets:
When you reach x1000 P.Mult, the "Promote!" button will appear. DO NOT PRESTIGE YET. The recommended promotion order is:
For your first promotion, aim for at least x6 of #1, which requires ~x14k P.Mult.
After multiple promotions and prestiges, you'll eventually reach 1.79e308 Score and see the "INFINITY REACHED" message. This unlocks the first major prestige layer.
Recommended upgrade path before challenges:
Challenges unlock after purchasing [7;1] and provide powerful IP multipliers. Each completed challenge increases your IP multiplier by x1.
Promotions #2 and #4 are disabled. Relatively straightforward.
Reward: x2 IP multiplier and stronger Promotions #2 and #4
Ascension Power divided by 4. Focus on promoting #3 after the basics.
Reward: Ascension Power x1.2 and x3 IP multiplier (total)
0.4 is subtracted from the Exponent. Recommended strategy: Wait 5 minutes, prestige, wait 2 minutes, then promote #1.
Reward: +0.03 to base Exponent and x4 IP multiplier (total)
All Prestige and Promote gains are powered to ^0.4. Follow the detailed strategy in the full guide.
Reward: +1 level to all promotions after INF and x5 IP multiplier (total)
After completing all challenges, you can break infinity to surpass the 1.80e308 Score limit. This opens up new upgrades and progression paths.
When buying generators and upgrades, follow the 3x rule: buy when you have 3x the cost due to the effects of [11;1] and [11;2].
The final upgrade [21;1] unlocks Stars, which generate stardust to boost generators. Continue buying stars and stardust upgrades until you reach 1.80e308 IP, which unlocks Eternity.
Before Eternating, be aware that ETERNITY RESETS AUTOMATIONS! Unlike in Antimatter Dimensions, you'll still be forced to perform the Eternity reset.
Congratulations on reaching Eternity! This second major prestige layer resets everything but provides powerful bonuses:
Your second Eternity unlocks a crucial QoL feature: automations remain permanent and won't reset with future Eternities.
Further milestones are still being developed.
